As a company being well-known in the field of aluminium permanent mould castings, gives more focus on this subject due to increasing demand for light metal parts all around the world day by day. In 1998, Asken makes investments on CAD/CAM systems to manufacture own dies and moulds internally. By the year of 2000, company starts a new project for producing and marketing aluminium alloy body Worm Gearboxes. After meeting a big demand for this new product, Asken decides to go on further in power transmission components. In 2005, Asken succeeds in having a new product in the market as Helical Worm Gearboxes for lower speed and higher moment requirements.

Asken is established in 1980 by Mr. Saip Boz (M.S. Engineer) for permanent mould casting of aluminium, bronze and brass parts including machining operations. Until 2000, Asken has worked in the field of automotive spare parts. Today company still produces parts for BMC (Commercial Vehicles producer in Turkey), railway cars spare parts, various machinery and equipment parts for Ingersoll-Rand Group of companies in Germany and USA.
